Dhigurah
Dhigurah, which literally translates to "long island" in Dhivehi, is one of the most precious jewels of the South Ari Atoll. Its geography is breathtaking: over 3 kilometers of lush palm trees and sand ending in a spectacular sandbank that shifts and disappears with the tides.
This island is a true global sanctuary for marine biology enthusiasts. It is located in an ocean channel where currents bring plankton year-round, attracting a resident population of whale sharks and giant oceanic manta rays. Excursions from here offer unparalleled sighting opportunities.

Dhigurah è uno splendido atollo con lunghe spiagge di sabbia bianca e fine, lambite dalla trasparenza del mare, davvero spettacolari. Ma la cosa più sorprendente è stata nuotare insieme allo squalo balena e le mante in un'unica grande danza! Davvero indimenticabile!Ti rimane nel cuore.

Sabbia soffice e bianca dove fare lunghe camminate peccato che sia inquinata da turisti maleducati. Abbiamo fatto escursioni di vario genere. Un po' delusa dal fatto di non essere riuscita a vedere il meraviglioso squalo balena ma l'oceano è imprevedibile. In definitiva un viaggio consigliatissimo

E’ un’isola di grandi dimensioni rispetto ad altre ,si può fare una passeggiata di 20 minuti. A Dhigurah è presente una lingua di sabbia bianca lunghissima, raggiungibile con una bella passeggiata. La sabbia qui è bianchissima e soffice, con la possibilità di trovare un po’ di ombra essendoci tante palme . Abbiamo effettuato snorkeling e uscite in barca per avvistare e per nuotare insieme allo squalo balena e alle mante.È un’isola piacevole, con una buona varietà di bar e ristoranti e con spazi generosi
